What Teams Build On Soneium Nodes

Where a private, uncapped endpoint beats a shared RPC pool.

dApp Backend Reads

Serve contract reads, gas estimates, and transaction status behind your product. A private Soneium node keeps app actions responsive when users fire repeated calls during live traffic.

Wallet Balance Sync

Power balance refreshes, token views, and transaction histories from your own Soneium RPC layer. Dedicated capacity keeps APIs stable when shared endpoints slow during active market periods.

Indexer Event Capture

Feed indexers with blocks, logs, receipts, and contract events through a dedicated Soneium data path. Your pipeline tracks token movement and protocol signals with fewer request breaks.

NFT Drop Tracking

Track mint pages, claim flows, ownership checks, and marketplace activity during drops. A dedicated node reads chain activity when campaign traffic rises faster than shared endpoints allow.

Game Asset States

Read player wallets, item ownership, rewards, and marketplace events from Soneium without routing every check through shared RPC. Predictable read latency keeps the play loop responsive.

Contract Watch Systems

Monitor deployed contracts, emitted events, failed calls, and transaction status from a private Soneium source. Alerts rely on your own node path, so monitoring stays consistent through spikes.

From Soneium To Private Endpoint In 3 Steps

Pick a node, we provision dedicated bare metal, you get a private, snapshot-ready RPC URL.

  1. 01

    Pick Your Soneium Node

Choose full or archive, and bring or host the Ethereum L1 RPC your op-node depends on. Pick the region closest to your users.

  2. 02

    We Provision Bare Metal

Your single-tenant op-geth + op-node deploys on dedicated NVMe, bootstrapped from a current snapshot, so you skip the long replay.

  3. 03

    Get Your Private Endpoint

Receive a dedicated HTTPS + WSS RPC endpoint with unlimited requests and zero rate limits, private behind IP allowlisting and DDoS protection.

Put Your Node Where Milliseconds Are Won

RPC latency is mostly a function of distance. A dedicated node lets you choose the exact region, so you sit next to the traffic that matters instead of fighting for routing on a shared, far-away endpoint.

Place It Where Your Users Are

Deploy across 20+ Tier III locations in the US, EU, Asia, and Australia. Put your Soneium node in the region your traffic actually comes from, not wherever a shared pool happens to route you.

Cut The Round Trips

RPC latency is mostly physical distance. Running in the same region as the Soneium sequencer shaves the round-trips a far-away, shared endpoint can never give back, which is what high-frequency reads and transaction submission live or die on.

Multi-Region By Design

Run a primary node plus regional read replicas for fast reads everywhere and built-in redundancy. Split public read endpoints from private admin, debug, and trace endpoints.

Need a node within a target latency budget of a specific region or venue? Tell us the endpoint and we'll recommend the closest facility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chain IDs, clients, archive data, getLogs limits, and why dedicated beats compute-unit billing.

What is a Soneium RPC node?

A Soneium RPC node is the access layer your apps use to read Soneium blockchain data, check contract states, fetch logs, and track transactions. With RedSwitches, your Soneium RPC node runs on private dedicated hardware, not a crowded shared endpoint, so you control clients, configs, and capacity with full root access.

Why choose a dedicated Soneium RPC node instead of a public RPC endpoint?

Public RPC works for light testing, but production apps need steadier access. A dedicated Soneium RPC node gives your team private infrastructure for dApps, wallets, indexers, and analytics without depending on shared public traffic. We build it for higher request volume, stronger control, and cleaner workload isolation.

Is Soneium EVM-compatible and OP Stack based?

Yes. Soneium is an Ethereum L2 built on the OP Stack by Sony Block Solutions Labs and is EVM-compatible, so developers can work with Ethereum-style JSON-RPC flows and familiar tooling. We prepare your server for the required client setup, so your Soneium RPC infrastructure starts from a node-ready base after sync.

Can I run a Soneium validator node?

Not in the staking sense. Soneium is an OP Stack optimistic L2 with a centralized sequencer, so there is no permissionless, stake-to-earn validator like Ethereum or Solana. Block ordering runs through the sequencer, not a public validator set. What we provision is what apps and indexers actually need: a fast, dedicated full or archive RPC node running op-geth and op-node.

Do I need Ethereum L1 access to run a Soneium RPC node?

Yes. Like every OP Stack rollup, Soneium derives its state from Ethereum, so your node runs op-node alongside op-geth and must connect to an Ethereum L1 execution RPC endpoint. If that parent-chain endpoint is slow, your node can fall behind, which shows up as stale reads and delayed indexing. You can bring your own Ethereum endpoint or host it on dedicated servers with us in the same region for tighter latency.

Can I use a dedicated Soneium RPC node for dApps, wallets, indexers, and analytics?

Yes. A dedicated Soneium RPC node fits production dApps, wallet balance reads, indexer pipelines, NFT activity tracking, DeFi dashboards, contract monitoring, and internal analytics. For heavier teams, a larger build gives more headroom for repeat queries and multi-system workloads across mainnet and Minato testnet.

Can I send transactions through a dedicated Soneium RPC node?

You can build transaction workflows around your Soneium RPC setup, but write access must follow approved network paths where required. We do not position dedicated infrastructure as a bypass. We help you run private reads, indexing, monitoring, app access, and approved transaction workflows with clear infrastructure control.

How long does a Soneium RPC node take to deploy?

We provision the dedicated server with the required client installed, then go-live depends on Soneium sync time and workload scope. A basic full node, an indexer-heavy setup, and a larger archive build can each take different time. Our team gives clear expectations before launch, and we can launch multiple nodes across regions.

Do you charge per request or per compute unit?

No. Unlike shared RPC providers that bill per "compute unit" and throttle you past a quota, a dedicated node is a flat monthly price with unlimited requests and zero overages. One node equals all the throughput your hardware can serve. That makes budgeting predictable and removes the surprise bills that come with usage-based RPC pricing.

How is this different from a shared RPC endpoint?

Shared RPC pools serve thousands of customers from pooled infrastructure, so you inherit rate limits, noisy-neighbor latency, and compute-unit billing. A RedSwitches node runs on single-tenant bare metal that is yours alone: reserved CPU, RAM, and NVMe, a dedicated 10/25 Gbps port, and a private endpoint you control. Performance tracks your hardware, not another tenant's traffic.

Do I have to sync the node myself, or wait days for it?

No. We provision from current snapshots so your node is live in hours rather than syncing from genesis for days. You can run it yourself with full root access, or choose our fully managed option where our engineers handle the sync, updates, and monitoring. Either way you receive a working private endpoint, not an empty server.

Can I deploy close to a specific region or sequencer?

Yes. With 20+ Tier III locations across the US, EU, Asia, and Australia you can place your node in the same region as your users or a chain's sequencer to cut round-trip latency. Tell us your target region and we will recommend the closest facility. You can also run multi-region nodes for redundancy and split read and write endpoints.
