What Teams Build On XRP Ledger Nodes

Where a private, uncapped endpoint beats a shared RPC pool.

Cross-Border Payment Systems

Handle international payment operations on a dedicated XRP Ledger RPC node. Single-tenant CPU, RAM, and NVMe keep transactions fast across high-volume corridors, even when shared endpoints throttle under load.

Payment Gateways

Build responsive payment systems with minimal latency. High-bandwidth dedicated infrastructure keeps submit, account_info, and balance reads stable during peak traffic, so checkout and settlement confirmations stay fast.

Smart Contracts

Use XRP as a settlement layer for programmable payments. A dedicated rippled endpoint gives reliable execution for native escrow, payment channels, and DEX operations, without the rate limits of pooled public RPC.

Asset Tokenization Services

Tokenize real-world assets on the XRP Ledger. Dedicated infrastructure delivers consistent performance for issuance and management of tokenized assets, with full-history nodes available for issuance audits and reconciliation.

Remittance Networks

Build money transfer solutions that leverage XRP's speed and low cost. Single-tenant nodes ensure consistent performance across global corridors, with 20+ locations to place your endpoint near each payout region.

DeFi & Payment Processors

Run tipping and scalable payment processing optimized for XRP transactions. Dedicated servers handle high small-value transaction volumes economically without performance degradation, keeping APIs responsive during bursts.

From XRP Ledger To Private Endpoint In 3 Steps

Pick a node, we provision dedicated bare metal, you get a private, snapshot-ready RPC URL.

  1. 01

    Pick Your XRP Ledger Node

Choose a full node for live payments or a full-history archive for every ledger. rippled and Clio serve JSON-RPC and WebSocket; tell us the region closest to your users.

  2. 02

    We Provision Bare Metal

Your single-tenant rippled node deploys on NVMe, snapshot-bootstrapped so you skip the slow history acquisition and start serving consensus-ready ledgers fast.

  3. 03

    Get Your Private Endpoint

Receive a dedicated JSON-RPC and WebSocket endpoint with unlimited requests and zero rate limits, private behind IP allowlisting and DDoS protection.

Put Your Node Where Milliseconds Are Won

RPC latency is mostly a function of distance. A dedicated node lets you choose the exact region, so you sit next to the traffic that matters instead of fighting for routing on a shared, far-away endpoint.

Place It Where Your Users Are

Deploy across 20+ Tier III locations in the US, EU, Asia, and Australia. Put your XRP Ledger node in the region your traffic actually comes from, not wherever a shared pool happens to route you.

Cut The Round Trips

RPC latency is mostly physical distance. Running in the same region as your users and the XRP Ledger network's peers shaves the round-trips a far-away, shared endpoint can never give back, which is what high-frequency reads and transaction submission live or die on.

Multi-Region By Design

Run a primary node plus regional read replicas for fast reads everywhere and built-in redundancy. Split public read endpoints from private admin, debug, and trace endpoints.

Need a node within a target latency budget of a specific region or venue? Tell us the endpoint and we'll recommend the closest facility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chain IDs, clients, archive data, getLogs limits, and why dedicated beats compute-unit billing.

What exactly is a dedicated Ripple RPC node server?

A dedicated Ripple RPC node server runs your own rippled instance on single-tenant hardware configured exclusively for XRP Ledger operations. Unlike shared solutions, you get dedicated hardware resources, custom configs, and ultra-fast response times tuned for payment networks and financial applications. Your apps call your private JSON-RPC endpoint, not a pooled one shared with other customers.

Why should I use a dedicated server for running a Ripple node?

Running out of resources is the most common problem Ripple nodes face. Dedicated servers remove this by giving you hardware you can customize for your node operations. You also manage server security and add custom firewall rules to allow or deny access to specific ports and services. These benefits outweigh the higher cost of shared RPC and contribute directly to smooth, uninterrupted node operations.

Should I run a full node or a full-history node?

Most production payment apps run a full node with online_delete on, which keeps a recent ledger window and manageable disk. Choose a full-history node (online_delete off) when you need every ledger ever closed for analytics, explorers, audits, or historical reconstruction. Full-history disk grows continuously, so plan extra NVMe headroom and expect storage to climb over time.

What are the recommended hardware requirements for a Ripple node?

For uninterrupted rippled operation we recommend a high-performance, multi-core processor (16 cores or more, AMD EPYC preferred), 64 GB or more of ECC RAM, and 2 x 3.84 TB NVMe enterprise drives for ledger data, paired with a reliable 10 Gbps connection. Full-history nodes need substantially more disk than recent-history full nodes, and you can scale RAM and storage as your retained ledger range grows.

Can I run an XRP Ledger validator, and do validators earn rewards?

You can, but validating earns no staking rewards. The XRP Ledger does not pay yield: running a validator is permissionless and is about consensus participation, namely voting on transaction ordering and being trusted on other operators' Unique Node Lists (UNLs). It is not a stake-to-earn role like Ethereum or Solana. What we provision and what apps actually need is a fast, dedicated rippled RPC node, available as a recent-history full node or a full-history archive node.

What XRP Ledger JSON-RPC API methods are supported?

Your rippled node serves the standard XRP Ledger JSON-RPC API. Server and feature calls include fee, server_info, server_state, and feature. Account calls include account_info, account_lines, account_offers, and account_tx. Ledger calls include ledger, ledger_closed, ledger_data, and ledger_entry. Path-finding and transaction calls include ripple_path_find, tx, and submit. With root access you control which methods and ports you expose. See the official Ripple documentation for the full list.

How fast can you deploy my Ripple node, and do I have to acquire history myself?

Your dedicated rippled RPC node is online and consensus-ready in about 10 minutes on available hardware. We help you skip the tedious history acquisition process so you are not waiting through a long cold start. Full-history nodes take longer to populate because they retain every ledger, so plan around that if you need complete history from day one.

Do you offer a managed Ripple node setup?

Yes. If you are not ready to run rippled in-house, we offer fully managed Ripple RPC and full-history nodes with pre-configured enterprise hardware, geo-optimized deployment, 24/7 support from Ripple-specialized engineers, and SLA-backed uptime with real-time monitoring. Prefer hands-on? You get full root access to run, tune, and secure the node yourself.

Do you charge per request or per compute unit?

No. Unlike shared RPC providers that bill per "compute unit" and throttle you past a quota, a dedicated node is a flat monthly price with unlimited requests and zero overages. One node equals all the throughput your hardware can serve. That makes budgeting predictable and removes the surprise bills that come with usage-based RPC pricing.

How is this different from a shared RPC endpoint?

Shared RPC pools serve thousands of customers from pooled infrastructure, so you inherit rate limits, noisy-neighbor latency, and compute-unit billing. A RedSwitches node runs on single-tenant bare metal that is yours alone: reserved CPU, RAM, and NVMe, a dedicated 10/25 Gbps port, and a private endpoint you control. Performance tracks your hardware, not another tenant's traffic.

Do I have to sync the node myself, or wait days for it?

No. We provision from current snapshots so your node is live in hours rather than syncing from genesis for days. You can run it yourself with full root access, or choose our fully managed option where our engineers handle the sync, updates, and monitoring. Either way you receive a working private endpoint, not an empty server.

Can I deploy close to a specific region or sequencer?

Yes. With 20+ Tier III locations across the US, EU, Asia, and Australia you can place your node in the same region as your users or a chain's sequencer to cut round-trip latency. Tell us your target region and we will recommend the closest facility. You can also run multi-region nodes for redundancy and split read and write endpoints.
